Girlies Camp!!! :)

OH MY GOSH!
I don't think I have ever been so tired in my life. I guess it is practice for when I have a baby. The week was crazy but so worth it. Being in nature learning and teaching about Heavenly Fathers creations and being around all the wonderful girls was so amazing.
I had some great JC's on my side as well as a wonderful, talented, amazing co-counselor.

They all did a great job. Whenever they needed to be spiritual the spirit was there or when the girls needed their love, they were there. They were all really on top of things.

I also had some great girls. Monique I was a counselor over one of the 1st year cabins. All of the girls were so cute and fun. I could tell they had a good time.

There were 17 girls, 4 JCs and Monique and I. It was a full cabin. Luckily we had one of the bigger cabins at the camp.

One of the activities of the week was repelling. I couldn't believe that.
I really thought that was so cool.
<span class= It was sort of a long walk to the place where they had the activity so Bro. Lewis would give the girls a ride. Moms don't look. :)

Some of the other activities were candle making, friendships bracelets, photography, home-made face scrubs and hand scrubs and lip gloss, and a zip line.

But most of the girls enjoyed the flour fight the most.
The game was capture the flag style and if you got hit with a flour bomb, you were out. The girls were to memorize a scripture each day. Each scripture would add a flour ball to your ammo collection and if you finished certifying you would qualify for a shield. But the thing was, the girls didn't know that that was the reason they were memorizing the scriptures. Well, being that all my girls were 1st years, they were so excited to be doing anything and everything so they had diligently memorized all of them. The rest of the years there weren't as excited so they didn't have as much ammo. so what do you think happend there?

WELL... We WON the fight.
My little 1st year were able to win over the 2nd, 3rd and 4th years. So cool right?

They were so excited to win.
They were all rewarded with a crown and we got ballooned and candied later that night.

Another thing that only the JC's and Monique and I were able to participate in was counselor night and JC night. Well the JC night was first and all the 1st year girls got to style their hair in crazy ways. So funny of course.

and then the next night, we were done up by the JC while the girls were having a dance party with the seniors down by the camp fire. Monique and I were SOOO tired so we were rolling on the floor crying our eyes out laughing so hard.
and this is why...

We were definatly the best. hahaha

The girls were also able to hike to the beautiful waterfall.

The 4th years, since they had gone up to camp early, a day earlier, for their hike, good job ladies by the way,

when every other year was doing their certification hike they were clearing this very long path to the waterfall. It looked so amazing. The camp owner said that is would probably take over 150 man hours to finish and they got it all done in less than a half a day. They said it was a lot of hard work, but it was so beautiful when it was done.

The girls from our ward had a great time up there too.
I am so glad that pretty much everyone was able to go.

and Angely you were an amazing leader.

The testimony meeting was fantastic and the spirit was definately there. Most of the Peachwood girls were able to bear their testimonies.
All in all, the week was so great!!!
Hopefully Ill be there next year (Anna, that was a wink wink to you)

Love you all
