3D/4D ultrasound 33 weeks

Wow! What an experience. I totally recommend this for everyone that is pregnant, but go before your 34 weeks. Maycee was so squished in there that we couldn't get the best pics, but we still got some good ones. These ones were my favorits.

Riddle me this...

A test of Applied Creativity

(Richard, the boy I watch, gave me this test after school today.)
How well did you do?

1. Do they have a 4th of July in England?
2. How many birthdays does the average person have?
3. If you had a match and entered a room in which there was a kerosene lamp, an oil lamp, and a wood burning stove, which would you light first?
4. Some months have 30 days, some have 31, how many have 28?
5. A farmer had 17 sheep. All but 9 died. How many does the farmer have left?
6. Two men were playing chess. They played 5 games and each won the same number of games with out any draws. How is this possible?
7. Take 2 apples from 3 apples, what do you have?
8. Which word in this sentence is misspelled?
9. Which is correct: 8 and 8 IS 15, or 8 and 8 ARE 15?
10. A little dog and a big dog are walking down a path. The little dog is the big dogs son. The big dog is not the little dog's father. Who is the big dog?

Hint: Don't think to hard. :)

32 Week check up

Photobucket Photobucket

Well just as usual everything is GREAT. yea!!!
Maycee is still in there and going strong. She has really grown so much. She kicks me in the ribs :) and jumps on my bladder :) and does cheerleader moves all over the place :)
Yea, maybe she really will be my little cheerleader. :)
And don't forget all the hiccups in there. :)

Maycee's stats
height of "fundus" - 32cm (right on track with my 32 weeks)
heart rate - 146bmp

My stats
blood pressure - 108/68
pulse - 76 bpm
and I have gained 29 lbs. (yikes)
I passed my glucose test, I don't have gestational diabetes :)
I am now into my Dr. visits being every 2 weeks. Its getting so close.

I have been having some weird cravings,
Ice, want to chew it all the time
Love the smell of chlorine and want to drink the pool water
and I want to eat comet every time I clean something
and of course cold cereal is still on my list too.
I don't have any clue why the weird stuff.

On sleeping, well it's been alright. Thanks to my body pillows, thanks Katie and Aimee, I have have pretty ok sleeps. I do wake up to go to the bathroom room about once a night but mostly I wake up in the morning with a little bit of a back ache.

I waddle everywhere and if I walk a lot in one day my feet ache the next day and I can't even walk on them. Thank goodness Rob has been so great to rub my feet. I love you baby.

Brittany sent of the invites to the shower. They turned out so cute. Thanks BritPhotobucket

8 month Ultrasound

Yesterday I went to an ultrasound. I had one scheduled for last week but for some reason Rob and I didn't even think about it (we were working in the garage) and missed it and had to reschedule. Well this is what the lady came up with.

Photobucket Diamond TextDiamond TextDiamond TextDiamond TextDiamond TextDiamond Text

I was bummed that they didn't turn out that well because Maycee is too big. But we did get a for sure confirmation that she is a GIRL! Yea. I think that this was my favorite ultrasound. It was just so real. The lady found Maycee's chin and looked at it and discovered that she has MY chin. :) I am just so excited for her to come out and play with me.

We have a reg doc visit on Thursday so I'll have more info then.

New Port

Rob and I were able to visit my aunt Leanna and uncle Terry this weekend in New Port. It was a very last minute thing. We decided to go on Friday morning and we left Friday afternoon. It was a last horrah before I went back to work. I was on vacation for the last week and it was a perfect ending for it all. It was in the 70's down there and wow it felt GREAT.

On Saturday we spent a lot of our time at the beach. Uncle Terry thought it was a good idea to bring the canopy so this is how he took it.

We were also able to meet up with one of Robs oldest friends from high school. She is pregnant too so it was fun to compare. :)

It was so great we think that we might want to go again in a couple of weeks.
T & L expect a call. Loves! We'll bring Me n Eds next time. :)

P.S. Thank you Ashley and Wyatt for watching the little doggies. Sorry they were trouble. Loves to you both. :)

The first cool person is...

MAREE

She invited me to chat on Google. I thought that was so awesome. She is so hip and up with it. You go girl. :) I want everyone to be able to do that.

It was just so easy to have a conversation on the computer.

Utah...

This weekend was the Wilcox reunion (or my moms dads side, the Weilers). It was a pretty short trip but we got all that we wanted done. Me, my grandpa and grandma loaded in the car and left on Thursday at 8a and the driving started. It was quiet in the car as my grandpa likes to listen to eaither talk radio or nothing so it was nothing most of the way. We got to Misquite Thursday night and stayed the night there. We went to the movies that were at the hotel and it only cost $1.50. Isn't that so cool? Friday morning we got back in the car and drove to Mt Pleasent. On the way my grandpa thought that it would be a fun idea to stop at Cove Fort on the way. It is an old fort that President Hinkley's pioneer ancestors built and stayed at.

We kept driving till Mt. Pleasent where we met up with my grandpa's sisters. It was fun to visit with them.

We stayed over that night and the next day was the reunion.
It was cool to learn more about my family.

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

I took Buster with me since I knew he would be good in the hotel rooms and man did he enjoy not having to put up with Missy.
Photobucket

After the reunion we got back in the car and started driving back to Cali right away. We got to Misquite that night and stayed and started driving again on Sun and we got back at about 5:30p. So all in all we were onlyh in Utah for about 24 hours. A very short trip but it was worth it to learn more about my ancestors.

Breaking Dawn

Photobucket

I can't believe that Breaking Dawn is out. I have been waiting so long. Well I had a copy on hold from Amazon and usually they send out the book and you get it the day it comes out. Well... it came out on Sat morn so the postage wouldn't come until Mon and so that is when I got it. Monday I started it and Tuesday I finished it. OMG it was so good. Everyone should read it. Now it's a count down to the movie. :)

THE WEDDING!!!

The festivities started on Friday night, Ashley and Wyatt were able to go through the Fresno Temple for the first time together. It was a great night that was followed my Tahoe Joe's (where Wyatt works) for dinner. Yum. They both thought the night went well.

<span class= <span class=
The next day was the BIG day. It was sunny and beautiful outside and it couldn't have been more perfect. The sealing was B-E-A-UTIFUL and oh so romantique. :) They both looked so happy, and I was the lucky one to be able to sit next to my little bro while my mom sat next to Ashley. I felt so privileged. There were so many family and friends waiting outside for them.

Unfortunately I didn't get any photos from the reception, I was way to busy but I'm sure I'll get some from someone later. The reception was the best. A few things went wrong but it was fun. It was actually pretty windy that night and so when someone went to light the candles on the tables, some of the flowers caught on fire, the whole picture table kept getting blown over (happened 3 times) and so the table clothe was all wet and the cake didn't get put out till half way through the reception. But other than that everything was awesome.
Wyatt and Ashley looked so happy together.
I am so proud of both of you for making the choice of getting married in the temple. The Lord will bless both you for that. I love you guys and Congrats!
