Riddle me this...

A test of Applied Creativity

How well did you do?

1. Do they have a 4th of July in England?
2. How many birthdays does the average person have?
3. If you had a match and entered a room in which there was a kerosene lamp, an oil lamp, and a wood burning stove, which would you light first?
4. Some months have 30 days, some have 31, how many have 28?
5. A farmer had 17 sheep. All but 9 died. How many does the farmer have left?
6. Two men were playing chess. They played 5 games and each won the same number of games with out any draws. How is this possible?
7. Take 2 apples from 3 apples, what do you have?
8. Which word in this sentence is misspelled?
9. Which is correct: 8 and 8 IS 15, or 8 and 8 ARE 15?
10. A little dog and a big dog are walking down a path. The little dog is the big dogs son. The big dog is not the little dog's father. Who is the big dog?

Hint: Don't think to hard. :)
