A Happy Early Easter

My baby is WHAT?

4 MONTHS old that's what!

Holy schnikies

My how time flies.

Maycee had her 4 month check-up and the results were a little under the mark.

She weighed in at a whopping

11.4 lbs (5th percentile)

23 1/2 in. long (20th)

and a 40cm head

Doc says that she is under weight so lucky me...

(no sarcasm, really)
I get to move up in the food scale

SOLIDS

(solids are way cheaper than Nutramigen)

She has really leared a lot of new tricks too.

*She has officially rolled over BUT the catch,

she can't remember how to do it again.

*She definatly knows who her mom is and chooses to spend time with her (all the time) Good or Bad? The times depend

*She giggles and laughs

*Talks and coos (She did say "mama" and Grandma Cyndi can vouch for me, of course she didn't know she said it)

*She loves singing time, tummy time and learning sign language. She watches me very intently

*Oh and Piano, it's on her list of things to accomplish -

or is it my high hopes?

V-day night we were invited to a How to Host a Murder party by Ashley and Mike Burton. This was so much fun. I recommend it to everyone. Ashley had found this game in her parents garage and it's been there for about 20 years so this game took place in the 80's.
Now Anything 80's... I'M IN!
Ashley Christiansen and I spent part of the day looking for sequence dresses. I already had mine (compliments of the lady I work for, Vassis mother) But she found her perfect dress. We each had our own characters to play.
The table was decorated nicely and we had a wonderful chef (Ashley B's cousin) make us a great dinner.






Earlier in the week I decided that baby Skyler had to be Maycee's Valentine so I made them matching shirts with "M and S" on them. I wanted to get pics of them together so look for them later.

loves to bowl so he thought it would be fun to do just that for his birthday.
We invited his family and a few of mine and we had one heck of a night.

We had ordered some Hungry Howie's pizza but hmmm... we weren't allowed to bring them in. But the manager was a NICE guy and so he gave us one of his rooms and we were able to eat before we bowled. What a great guy.

This kid can either get on you last nerve or he can make you laugh till you pee your pants. My weekdays would not be complete without him.

Feb 5 conversation went a little like this...

Me: You like Missy's new outfit? Rob thinks it looks like lingerie

Richard: What's lingerie?

Me: uh.. it's underwear

Lex: not really

Me: well ok it's sexy underwear that you uh... wear to bed.

Another day Lex and I got to explain what a period was. (he really didn't get an answer)

(I LOVE how I get to explain these things to him and I'm only his nanny)

Maycee had a sleepover with Baby Skyler. The first of many together.

We also ran into Brit, and her mom at Bobby Salazar's. Maycee and Skyler were fast asleep.
