Maycee's room
I know I said that I wasnt going to do to much in here because I live in a little apartment and who knows when we will move out, but I couldn't resist. She has to share a room with my scrapbook stuff but I don't think that she will mind. :)
Baby stuff takes so much room. The closet it full to the max.
Rob was such a good sport to put up so many things. Thanks baby. I LOVE you so much.
I had registered for a whole crib set at babies-r-us. But I wasn't thinking when I did it because I also registered for a small porta crib. I got all the bedding (so cute by the way and thank you Aunt Ahjenae for getting it for me) and I brought it all home took it out of the package and LAME, it was too big. So I had to return everything and I thought maybe I could get the same pattern for the little crib. No such luck. All they had was a yellow pink blue or green plain bumper. Boring. Well I guess pink is it. :) It turned out all right though.

Rob and I went to a Quad Stake adult dance this Friday. It was, as you can see, 70's theme. It was so much fun. there were all these cute old people all dressed up and dancing. It was fun to hang out with my mom, Robs parents and some other friends from our ward. I couldn't believe that I had a shirt that was both 70's and fit. :) They had this dress up booth were you could put on whatever you wanted and then take your picture. Really the vest that I wore I really wanted to wear in normal life. :) I thought it was so cute.

Showers of LOVE
Thank you to these lovely ladies, Brittany and Ashley B plus my mom (didn't get a pic with her) and Ashley C. Everything turned out beautiful. They wouldn't let me do anything. They did a great job. Thank you
There were so many people there. Thank you for all the support and love.
We had some great food. My mom was in charge of that. There were chicken salad sandwiches and these beautiful fruit bouquets just like the professional ones. She did a great job. Brittany had beautiful decor and Ashley B made some great chocolate covered pretzels.

I got some amazing gifts that I really needed. Thank you to everyone.
There were a lot of people to help clean up too.
Thank you men, Wyatt and Mike, and all the ladies for cleaning up and thank you Rob and everyone else for
setting up.
The shower was beautiful and I couldn't have asked for anything better. I loved it all.

Dates to remember
September 11th, 2001
Wow has it 7 years already since this tragic thing has happened? I think back to what I was doing that day, and what WAS I doing? Ditching school of course. It just so happened that I decided not to go to school on that lovely Junior year day of mine. I was watching T.V. and it was broad casted on every channel. I didn't really know what was going on because I was very ignorant about what the twin towers were but I just knew something bad had happened. My dad called me that day and was flipping out thinking that the schools had sent everyone home for some reason, when it was only me home. :) I later figured out how traumatic it was.
A couple of years later, July 2007, Brittany Youngclaus and I were able to visit the site in New York on July 4Th. It was very sad to see all the damage there but exciting to see all the new construction that was happening. The Freedom Tower will be a remarkable landmark and hope to visit it when it is complete.

Another note on Americans fighting back
Californians we need to fight
VOTE YES on PROP 8
It is the constitutional amendment that we are trying to get passed in CA that will add to our state constitution that
"Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid and recognized in the state of California."
Thank you to all those wonderful people who are fighting for this, and doing everything that they can, by either calling people or knocking on doors, or who are on some kind of committee, or have donated money. You are wonderful people.

And while I'm talking about politics, I'll put my 2 cents in for McCain/ Palin. You guys Rock.
You got my vote.

Lifehouse
Rob received a few tickets to the Lifehouse concert at the Madera Fair last Friday and I like Lifehouse so we decided to go. Our seats were sec A row 4. They were pretty dang good seats. We had a good time. We were lucky enough to get a great free parking spot and walk right in. They sounded great too. It was a fun date night.
The only bummer thing was I brought my camera but left my camera chip in the car so my pictures were from my phone. Lame I know. Oh well.

34 weeks already?
Time has really flown by. It is so unbelievable that I will have a baby in about 6 weeks (hopefully sooner than that).
my 34 week check up went smoothly as usual.
The great thing is I only gained 1.5 lbs in 2 weeks. AMAZING!
Blood pressure: 114/80
pulse: 85
height of "Fundus": 33
Maycee's heart rate: 144bpm
I took an iron test last week and surprisingly the stats came out normal. I thought that I was was a little anemic.
And... my stomach has been tightening up a little bit now and then and the doc said that it was a little bit of braxton hicks. SCARY! It's only getting closer. Thank goodness there havn't been cramps, just tightening.
Does this really happen?
